The new blog is being built.  Anxious to get started. Sad that this site is at a stand still at the moment….  Mostly just BUSY with life.  Every weekend and evening is booked.  Can’t wait for October to bring some calm to our schedule.  In the mean time, this is how we fill those minutes where we have nothing to do:

We were scheduled to close on our house last week Wednesday.  As luck would have it, we got stuck with the “worst closing company in the state” according to our mortgage guy.  They postponed. We signed paper work saying that it was okay to postpone.  It wasn’t okay. We were mad.  So, long story short, we will close tomorrow. Or will we? Who knows. Stay tuned.

To pass the weekend, and the little cloud following us around, we hung our with Heather, Justin, Bruno the border collie and Mable the 20 year old cat.  Our apartment was a little, hairy circus. I was greatful to pass the weekend and get to this week quicker. What better way than with good friends and a few glasses of wine. And…5 animals.

Those puppies that dominated my blog are now 3.5 months old.  Everyone shares pictures, which is nice.  I miss them.  Here is the boy that stayed in MN with our friends.

Eric and I took engagement pictures for Kristina and Brandon, close friends of ours (I have the honor of being her maid of honor in September, and she was mine) this past weekend.  Check them out here.   We aren’t finished yet, so check the site later tonight for the rest.

We’ve been watching Heather and Justin’s border collie, Bruno, the last few weekends.  He fits in nicely with our dogs.  Riggs isn’t quite sure about him, he wants to move into middle child while Bruno is visiting and Bruno kinda wants that spot.  So there is a lot of pouting on Riggs part.  Elvis plays with Bruno like a little school girl, they roll around on the floor together mouthing each other. Elvis knows he’s alpha dog and Bruno doesn’t challenge him.
