This weekend my roommate, Heather, myself and another girlfriend are going up to Grand Marais. It will be a five hour drive of girl clucking, coffee and loud music. We will be staying with Heather’s family, which will be a riot. We will be visitng various wedding venues for Heather and Justin’s 2010 wedding. We will be surrounded by the crazy beauty that is very- northen MN. Follow the adventure on Twitter (right side bar of this page)…

Seven Things About Me (aka Eric suggested I do this since he did…)
I’m Adopted
Since I can remember, I have known I was adopted. My biological mother was 17 was I was born and “wasn’t ready to be a parent.” My 24 year old sister is also adopted. She has fetal alcohol syndrome and without knowing the extent of her special needs, my parents brought her into the family. I believe they are saints for this. My mom affectionately calls my sister, her “ticket into heaven”. I have no intentions of meeting my biological parents (whom I can only assume are not together now), although I have just started the trying process of getting updated medical information from them. FL to MN
We spent a nice family filled holiday jet setting to Florida for Christmas and back to Minnesota for New Years. It was great to see the in laws again and it was nice to be ‘home’ in St Cloud with my family in the end. Our holidays were low-keyed and still heavy with our current situation: interviews, tough days, better days, more resumes sent and more applications filled out. It’s like quicksand. Slow and painful.
Here are just a few pics from Florida. I didn’t take my ‘big’ camera as we didn’t check any luggage.

When I Was Little…
I had a Viewmaster. I would ‘take pictures’ while riding to and from with my parents. Little did they know…
Here are some grown up images from out the car window.
