A Little of Everything
So, the bank accepted the offer on the house. Now we are knee deep in paperwork and calling on all of our patience to get by for the next month. I’m itching to get inside, measure everything and take a few hundred pictures. It’s hard to wait on other people. This is a lesson I have learned over and over the last 2 years or so.
In other news, we enjoyed a weekend away in Georgia (I’d never been), visiting Eric’s parents and laughing our way through some hilarious airport situations.
Tomorrow, the puppies go to their new homes. I knew I would get attached, and I knew I would want one of my own after these last 9 weeks… I knew the day would come. I’d like to go along and take pictures each week, but something tells me their new people wouldn’t like that.
I continue to wait for my temp job to start. All kinds of emotions attached to that, as you can imagine. So, lots of stress, impatience and lack of sleep sometimes feel overwhelming. I work hard to be on top of those emotions and remember that we are lucky to have many good things coming. And those last pieces will fit in the puzzle eventually.

FL to MN
We spent a nice family filled holiday jet setting to Florida for Christmas and back to Minnesota for New Years. It was great to see the in laws again and it was nice to be ‘home’ in St Cloud with my family in the end. Our holidays were low-keyed and still heavy with our current situation: interviews, tough days, better days, more resumes sent and more applications filled out. It’s like quicksand. Slow and painful.
Here are just a few pics from Florida. I didn’t take my ‘big’ camera as we didn’t check any luggage.

The water was cold, but we did hang out on the beach
